ON NATURAL THINGS

Beth Roberts is the author of two books of poetry: Brief Moral History in Blue (New Issues, 2001) and Like You (Fence Books, 2021), which won the Ottoline Prize. She earned her BA in English and creative writing at Western Michigan University, and her MFA in poetry at the University of Iowa. On Natural Things documents some occurrences since June 2020, when she moved from the Illinois-Iowa Quad Cities back to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Roberts works as a writer and editor in communication and marketing for Augustana College, Rock Island, Illinois.
